Hurray for Mouret!

Okay if and when I win the lottery and have given money to
important causes I will take a little shopping spree.
After I have collected a few Herve's next on my shopping
list will be a few pieces by Roland Mouret. His designs are
wonderful! Love the pink number on Posh Becks even though it
was inappropriate for an children's field day at school.
I think he did the dress for Madonna's, Take a Bow and You'll
See videos.
These dresses are so sexy and classic.

More Herve Leger

I can never get enough of the creations of fab French designer Herve Leger. His designs are to die for. These are all at Nordstrom. In total I have spent almost $5000 on these three great dreams.

Anyone who knows me well knows I love handbags! A girl can never have too many of them. Handbags are great, they're fun and different. I was amazed at the women in Paris with so many lovely handbags. It's the thing to have when you are in fashionable Paris.
The one thing I have learned is not to go stupid when it comes to buying any piece of clothing. I love being trendy and fashionable but I refuse to be stupid any more when it comes to buying over price clothing to look good. Things are in for the moment and next they are gone. It's a lousy feeling when you have spent a great deal of money on something and then six months on you either hate it or you get laughed at because it's outta style. Why bother? Sometimes I can barely blame the people who take the smart move and buy fabulous fakes. Why on earth should I fork over $2500 for that Spybag when I won't be carrying it this time next year. I don't even carry that $35 one I bought in a mall in Atlanta last year. Hey it's not worth it and especially in this economy. I guess if you are Posh Spice you can afford so it don't matta baby.

I guess if I did have to spend a great deal of money on it it would definitely be something I can wear or carry five years from now and it will be just as in. Stick with the neutrals and you'll be safe and glad ya did.

These Christian Dior Saddle bags are wonderful.

Awesome black designer dresses

These dresses are absolutely hot! The first two are by Vivienne Westwood. I don't tend to like a lot of English fashion designers but Westwood work is very different and cutting edge. I would probably wear the first (£220) one because of it's simplicity but it would be great to be step out in the second (£700+) one.
The third black dress is by Derek Lam. Yes it's a bit expensive at £785 but again I like the simple cut of it. You can wear alone or with leggings and heels or long boots.
The last dress is by celeb designer Roland Mouret. This LBD is very cute, sexy and classic. It screams 1940s. I love the work Mouret does with these dresses and the skirt suits like the one Madonna wore in her, Take a Bow video several years ago. I would definitely go for Mouret. A Mouret dress is like a Leger, they look so much better on a womanly body.
